About Jack Major
I grew up around hard work, and I've spent my career trying to do it justice on camera.
For the past several years, I've built a living telling the stories of the people who actually build our world: the operators, crews, and tradespeople who rarely get the spotlight but do the work that holds everything up. During my time at BuildWitt, I produced and managed video content centered on the skilled men and women behind the equipment, helping grow the channel from 180,000 to over 540,000 subscribers while promoting careers in the blue-collar trades.
Before I ever picked up a camera professionally, I worked as a groundsman for Evergreen Timberworks in Knoxville, TN. That time on the ground taught me how a real job site runs. The pace, the hazards, the unspoken rules of staying safe and staying out of the way. I bring that same site awareness to every shoot, whether I'm on a highway project, a demo site, or forty feet up next to a climber.
Today, through Major Media Group, I partner with construction and trades companies to create content that's as authentic as the work itself. I've worked with companies like Jones Bros to tell these stories, and I'm always looking for the next crew with something worth showing.
